You’re in my spot

After a rough start yesterday morning, Josie was back to her normal self. The only sign of the morning’s roughness: red stains on her paws. Despite that, she was all smiles and wagging tail.

Regardless, I spent quality time outside with her just in case her nose started acting up. Bear joined us. Josie stuck close to me, Bear on the other hand found a nice patch of shade in the front yard. Smart move.

I decided to keep busy and wash the truck. Josie took Bear’s lead and settled down next to him in the shade. Until I playful sprayed some water in their direction. They were not happy and ran off toward the porch.

A little while later, I glanced around to see where they had run off to. Bear had settled behind a bush – a spot he has made his own when he is out front. Josie insisted on hiding behind the same bush. The sight made me chuckle.
